Temple rebuilding

Question:
When will the rebuilding of the Temple start?

Answer:
Maimonides teaches (Hilchot Melachim 11 1) that the Mashiach will rebuild the temple. How, why and when this will occur will not be known until after the fact (Hilchot Melachim 12 2).
