Conversion of an Arab
Rabbi Jonathan Blass

Question:
Though I do not agree upon my classification as an arab, but knowing that this is my classification, do I have the right to convert ?? and how do I do?

Thank you for your help,

Answer:
Any non-Jew who wishes to accept the Torah and its mitzvot and join the Jewish People is permitted do so halachically. Contact a local Orthodox rabbi and he will explain the procedure. The halacha in all places is identical; the bureaucratic procedure varies.
